Here Are Parking Lots During Lebaran Betawi in Setu Babakan

South Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept. has prepared parking lots for vehicles belong to guest and visitor of Lebaran Betawi on July 28-30, Setu Babakan Betawi Cultural Village (PBB), Jagakarsa. Those can accommodate 1,000 vehicles.

"There are five parking lots prepared here. Its capacity is up to 670 units of vehicles," expressed Christianto, Head of South Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept., Thursday (7/27).

For VIP parking lot in Zone A Setu Babakan, the distance is only 50 meters away from the main stage and can accommodate 100 vehicles. Then other parking lot in Zona C, the distance is 500 meters and can accommodate 500 vehicles.

There is also parking lot at Jalan Mohammad Kahfi II No. 13, which is about 100 meters and can accommodate 30 vehicles. Then vehicles can also be parked on the land owned by Jakarta Youth and Sport Dept., Jalan Kebembem, which is about 400 meters and can accommodate 400 vehicles.

"There is a land in Desa Putra, which is about 200 meters from Setu Babakan and can accommodate 300 vehicles," he told.

His side also intends to place personnel in each parking lot which aims to avoid traffic jam.

"Each parking lot will have four until five personnel to manage traffic and avoid traffic jam," he expressed.

In the meantime, Setu Babakan PBB Management Unit, Rafiqah Mustafa also has requested assistance of the local sub-district and urban village to socialize the event. Thus people who have empty land could be borrowed as temporary parking lot.

"So we will coordinate with sub-district and Satpol PP to handle it," he closed.
